It is with great sadness, that after a thorough period of reconciliation and continued exploration, the Bladder and Bowel Foundation are at a point where the operation of our charity has become unable to be maintained financially. It is a challenging time for the charitable sector and funding is becoming more and more difficult to secure. The board of trustees and operational team are currently doing everything in their power to transfer the legacy of work, we have strived so tirelessly to deliver to the public and the healthcare community over the past 24 years. We thank every individual, partner and company for their amazing support, personal time and donations over the years and feel proud of the support we have provided but are now unable to continue delivering in the future – Alan Cottenden (Chairman)

Sacral Neuromodulation (also known as Sacral Nerve Stimulation) is an NHS funded therapy that may be able to reduce, and even eliminate, the symptoms of overactive bladder and bowel incontinence. Where successful, the treatment can be life-changing.
Vista aims to explain who we are and what we do and to be a source of refreshing news and information on current bladder and bowel issues. Vista will be published quarterly and unlike the B&BF Magazine will be emailed to those who request it.
Our ‘Just Can’t Wait’ toilet card uses what is considered to be a universally acknowledged image for a toilet. This generic image should help limit any embarrassment and ensure there is no confusion about the purpose of the card. It may also go some way to helping holders of the card find and access toilets in situations where English may not be the first spoken language.
