The helpline is operated via an answer phone service and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can leave your message at any time and will need to include your name and a telephone number so one of the helpline nurses can call you back. Calls are returned during office hours Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, however, you can request a call back at a specific time if this is helpful to you and if there is high demand we operate until 7pm in the evening and on Saturday mornings.
Our helpline staff can provide general medical advice and information relating to continence management however they cannot diagnose conditions. For a diagnosis you will need to make an appointment to see your doctor, local continence nurse or health professional for a full assessment.
