Resources > Helpline
For free, confidential, continence management advice from one of our
trained continence nurses, please call our helpline.
The helpline is operated via an answer phone service and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can leave your message at any time and will need to include your name and a telephone number so one of the helpline nurses can call you back. Calls are returned during office hours only (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm), however, you can request a call back at a specific time if this is helpful to you.
Our helpline staff can provide general medical advice and information relating to continence management however they cannot diagnose conditions. For a diagnosis you will need to make an appointment to see your doctor, local continence nurse or health professional for a full assessment.
Information on symptoms and conditions associated with bladder and bowel control problems can be found in our main Bladder Section and Bowel Section, including treatment options and related information. You may also find our Frequently Asked Questions section a useful resource.Last updated: 17/10/2013
