Thank You to All Those Who Participated in the Odour Detection Research
The BioMed HTC in Bristol (www.biomedhtc.org.uk) would like to thank the B&BF and all those who participated in the Tact3 smart underwear and odour detector studies.
The TACT3 team would now like to invite health professionals and those with an interest in continence research to a one day free training event at Brunel University on the 13th June.
TACT3 is the UK's largest collaborative research programme focussed on older people and continence difficulties. Our team of gerontologists, clinicians, psychologists and continence experts are coming together to share some of the findings. We believe that care professionals working in the frontline with older people should have the opportunity to benefit from our work, so we are putting on a free one day training event (Refreshments and lunch included).
The event is aimed at health and social care professionals but informal carers and people with an interest in continence research are also welcome. For more information and to book your place please contact Robert Ewers, Brunel University, Uxbridge UB8 3PH or robert.ewers@brunel.ac.uk 01895 266197.
The results of the Tact 3 study will be made available. Further details can be found on www.brunel.ac.uk/bib/tact3
