Prostasan - Saw Palmetto Berries
Saw palmetto berries have been used for many years as a herbal treatment for symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men.
Prostasan contains an extract of Saw palmetto berries and is a licensed traditional herbal remedy used to treat the urinary symptoms of BPH in men who have had a diagnosis of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Prostasan Saw palmetto comes in capsule form and is suitable for long term use. The dosage is one capsule per day, which contains 320mg of herbal extract from Saw Palmetto fruit.
Side Effects
Prostasan Saw palmetto may cause side effects. You may experience some of the side effects listed below or none at all.
The following minor side effects can occur when using this product and are likely to affect less than 1 in every 1,000 people.
- Belching
- Stomach discomfort
- Allergic reactions such as skin rashes
If you are having problems with this product, its important to tell your GP immediately, especially if you experience any of the symptoms listed below.
- Your symptoms of urinary discomfort worsen
- You have blood in your urine
- You have a fever
